Capel Manor boasts a rich history that dates back to the 13th century, the estate is home to a beautiful Georgian manor house, over 40 colourful gardens, a zoo, a restaurant and Capel Manor College’s Enfield Campus. Have fun exploring our gardens and enchanted fairy forest, say hello to Capel’s Creatures and work your way through our holly maze. What's On

Five Senses Trail - Monday 13 February - Friday 17 February 2023

Visit Capel Manor Gardens over half term this February, where all of the family can enjoy the beauty of nature in all its glory.

Discover what you can see, hear, touch and smell as you explore our 30-acre grounds. You will be provided with an activity sheet designed to help children to use all of their senses and engage with their natural world.

You can visit our animals at our mini zoo, complete the holly maze and wander through our fairy forest along the way.

This is a predominantly outside event. Pre-booking is encouraged to guarantee entry.

Wedding Ceremonies

Our hidden oasis is perfect for any outdoor civil ceremony. With 30 acres of beautiful Gardens, we offer a unique setting for your big day.

Wedding Photography

Our Gardens are a perfect location to capture your special day, with plenty of secret hideaways for intimate wedding photos.

Birthday Parties

Our Capel’s Creatures Birthday Package is ideal for children’s birthday celebrations and includes animal encounters, access to the Gardens, our ever-popular stamp trail and party invitations.

Venue and Room Hire

We offer a range of meeting, workshop and training rooms, including our grand Manor House for up to 100 people.

Filming and Photography

Our Gardens are the perfect location for commercial filming and photo shoots throughout the year.

Friends of Capel Membership

With a Friends of Capel annual membership, you can enjoy unlimited access to our historic estate and 30 acres of beautiful Gardens. Member benefits include entry to Capel Manor Gardens, Forty Hall Farm (Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am – 4pm) and to events at these locations.
