We offer many different types of care and support for adults of all ages. This includes care services for older people and people living with dementia, and support for adults with a range of different disabilities and conditions.
Home Care Preferred also provide independent living equipment to buy or rent from our shop on Station Road. Our product & Retail Manager is highly knowledgeable and will be able to give you expert advice on what aids will enable you and your loved ones to live safely and independently at home.
At Home Care Preferred we take great pride in training our team. Our carefully selected team members are dedicated people who provide superb levels of ?service in a friendly but professional manner.
In addition to statutory training our caregivers receive intensive coaching in customer care and on-going training in all relevant aspects of Health & Social Care.
Our approach is flexible and our services are tailor made around clients' needs. From a few hours a day to full time live-in care, Home Care Preferred is available to provide the right solution for those we serve.

Excellent Team 5 I have been working for Home Care Preferred for 8 months now as their Community Relations Manager and I have been blown away by the calibre of carers recruited and the passion the whole team has for provide compassionate and persona centred care. They go out of their way on a daily basis to ensure our clients are happy and receiving a first class service. The whole team are very supportive and I have never felt so welcomed in a company before - a fantastic working environment that is reflected in the level of service, I have already recommended HCP to friends and family and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

5 Hi Home Care Preferred, The walks/jigsaws/games that Mum's live-in carer has spent lots of time with has been extremely beneficial.The fact that she has got Mum walking around outside with her stroller rather than in a wheelchair is little short of incredible and increases Mum's confidence and gives her a big lift.

5 I had a phone call from a client's son today he was very impressed with the work of his Father's regular care giver, the way she encouraged his father to leave the house, to get involved with looking through pictures and the way she took on board everything that was said. His felt like he was really listened to and the needs of his father were being met by us as a company :)

5 I have not worked for such a well organised caring company for a very long time. I was made to feel welcome and valued from day 1. The staff were so caring and sympathetic to me following the sad loss of my dear dad in November. Working for HCP reminds me of the first agency I worked for, I was with them over 7 years and hope that I will remain with HCP till I retire

5 Both of Mum's Live in carers have been amazing. Both care for her as if she was their own mother. They are patient, caring, considerate and so helpful to her in all ways.

5 The service was very good, at all times I was fully supported by Julie and Anna. The Home Care Preferred Management team were very helpful from the start when my brother initially made enquiries, he was contacted back immediately and services began that weekend.

5 I did not communicate personally much with the girls who supported my Aunt, but Dot always spoke highly of them. I was very pleased when Marilyn stayed with Dot in hospital; she really went that extra mile to keep my Aunt comfortable.

5 I found the service wonderful; all of our requirements were most defiantly met. Susan was fantastic, she was always very professional, always on time- never ran late. The management team were also very supportive, especially when it came to advising us on equipment.

5 thanks to the excellent care we had from Yvonne. She went out of her way to help us,especially Steve who needed the wheel chair. It was a long morning but Yvonne remained cheerful and practical throughout, getting us safely home around midday. When she knew we were settled she left at 12.30.
